Popular Post azzurro Posted January 27, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 27, 2025 Pipe anvil (for bending curves into sheet metal) Picked the pipe up at Rietvelds (https://rietveld.co.nz/) for scrap value a few months ago and finally got around to cutting them to length and burning them together, + a simple stand pipes are 2, 3 and 5 inch diameter thick wall pipe with washers between to set the gap (about 2mm), should be handy for making patches etc 16 Quote

Popular Post yoeddynz Posted January 29, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 29, 2025 Last week we bought a log splitter. Have been borrowing a mates one for the last few years in return for servicing it. But its huge, heavy and slow. New one is just a 20ton unit - will be more than ample and its light enough to tow behind quad. Gooes hard and its quick! But not towable up our tracks at this ride height with its silly little wheels... So I made a new chassis for it. Used random steel bits from rack and the wheels are the old ones left over after we had made new gear trailer racks for local kayak company. 15 1 Quote
Popular Post yoeddynz Posted January 29, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 29, 2025 Also removed all the silly safety stickers it was plastered with due to being mainly sold in USA.. Can now tow it up to the next 3 wood sheds further up that are located near the pines we want to fell. 14 Quote

Popular Post kierbear Posted February 15, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2025 I built this replica 1930s nurses uniform and wore it to art deco in napier, as a tribute to the nurses who died in the 1931 napier earthquake. The embroidery and other writing on the garment is related to the earthquake. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out and the accessories 31 3 Quote
