NZCarFreak
Discussion for the Corona coupe, would love to know about any others in NZ. Compared to the Celica there are far fewer photos and much less info on the Internet about them. Cheers!

kyteler
Blergh, even though the Celica has popups on it's side, the Corona is a much nicer shape.
rxtoy
A guy I was in the navy with had one, Chris somebody. His was fairly clean and standard from memory, been at least 8 years since I've seen it though. Motivation: Cheers Matt
NZCarFreak
Haha, those are nicely done cars. I need to get the bumpers sorted as in the pic you can see the front one has faded badly (it's also cracked.) Normally I would leave bodywork well alone as I prefer the worn, used look but in this case the bumper has faded so badly that it's the first I notice when I look at the car and I feel it cheapens the look rather than add to it. The back bumper will just need sanding.
smitty
Not that it matter, but my dad used to have an aftermarket conversion convertible Celica in Holland. Said it was probably the best handling car he has owned: And the car in the background of Vintage Grumble's photo is a car I saw IRL.
MrMcdoll
Pop up headlight front end conversion when?
smitty
Pop up headlight front end conversion when? NO! Both have their own thing but these are more rare so keep them this way. Maybe lower it and get some better wheels but keep the front end the same.
