jakesae101
still need to get me some 15 inch rims so many cheap 15 inch rally tyres 14s not so much
BLIZZO
yea 14s your pretty much fucked for second hand, you could probably get away with 13s jake, then you can get second hands from the escort lads, small 15s like the 185/65r15s come from front tuggers usually, the R2 fiesta guys, suzuki swifts etc or the steerers off AE86s and rx7s sorta thang. I run 13s and 15s, will use 15s when its super wet / sloppy for a slightly bigger footprint.
jakesae101
13s are probably no go now running bigger brakes 14s just fit now i have some 14 inch tyres but dont know how good they will be now

BLIZZO
At this stage im planning on doing all of them but will see how the rally budget goes with shaye being off work with our wee fulla. If you dont want to do all of them Tararua rd is def the best of the lot and I have heard amazing things about the fordell road also. Otaria is very short, i havnt done millstream yet but it too looks short. they are all good fun tho

Truenotch
The Manawatu Car Club is now running a 4.5km sealed Autocross on December 17th (in place of the circuit tarmac rally that was cancelled). It's not often you get a chance to skid the full track at Manfeild and they'll be running in both directions. It's a real head f*$% to drive the track backwards. I highly recommend it! Hi guys, as you’ll be aware, we have had to cancel the Circuit Tarmac Rally. It’s a shame, but we will work on running another one at a different time of year in 2017. There is something positive to take away from it though. We are keeping the booking and will now be running a HUGE tarmac autocross day using the entire 4.5km Manfeild track (front and back tracks together) in BOTH DIRECTIONS. This will be a combination of Manfeild’s challenging corners and a series of chicanes along the straights to add an extra test for drivers. We expect that there will be huge amounts of track time for all entrants, so we’d love to see you there. Another positive is that the autocross will be a clubsport basic event. This means that it’s suitable for people from all walks of life - first time competitors, clubsport competitors or serious racers and rally guys. Road cars, club cars, rally cars and race cars will all be well suited and we have a special prize to give away on the day. The entry fee will be $90 per competitor, so get your car out of the shed and shout yourself a skid for christmas! Entry and info is here: http://manawatucarclub.org.nz/event/manfeild-4-5km-sealed-autocross/

Truenotch
I'm sure DCC members will be keen to do two events in two weeks? Shame about the rally, but there'll be another one.
