I wire wheeled the insides and then smeared chassis adhesive/sealant all along the seam from the two steel halfs.. then glued  and bolted in the valve cut from the old tubes.. then put tires on.

Wow SO EASY FITTING TUBELESS TIRES. actually only took a few minutes with no tube to worry about fucking.

Didnt end up as wide as expected because the rims are so narrow but YOLO

Wow!!! That's a damn tidy one, looks great!!!!!

I'll take a look at mine tonight and see what information I can give you about that shaft.

Managed to source a spring and get it fitted with help from a friend was a job and a half

I know this is an old thread but I’m running out of options. Hopefully I get a response. Bought a 1980 NF75. Runs amazing when cold but as soon as it warms up it’s won’t rev and clangs whenever I try to rev it. Checked the Carb, tried a smaller and larger jet but it’s just not working. I have noticed the previous owner has used silicone between the head and crank case so assume this could be causing me the issue. However there’s no info out there and gasket kits are only listed till 1979
