fagoff
That's pretty awesome repair work for a first time effort. Your right grinding also distorts metal .but we learn from it and that's priceless eh. Enjoying following your work.
Guypie
I moved to Imgur when photobucket started being useless for image hosting. You can get it to scale the photos when you upload them too. may be worth looking into. Awesome progress on the car, might have to swing by wagnats to see the finished product!

Seedy Al
What color is the roof currently?
Nominal
It's been stripped to bare metal and covered with Blackguard (I think) so it looks dark brown/black. Looks OK as a combination, so dark brown might work.

azzurro
Nice work! Cant believe how similar in design concept this is to my 2300 wagon, differs slightly in execution but definitely very similar ideas about how to best put together a car. I guess Pininfarina needed to make some money flogging off the same 3 box design a few times to save up for the coke to fuel all their concept car + model photo shoots a few years later. KustomKreeps
Any of these tail lights for sale? Been trying to figure out what i may do on the rear of my current project. Thinking those could look ok one pointing up and one down on each side kinda like you have them laid out. Whats the dimensions of one light assembly? width and height. If you have four decent spares then flick me an email with some pics etc of each. alextowart at gmail dot com Doing some nice fab work man. Nominal
that tail gate, really, doesnt look toooooo bad to repair. I have a spot welding drill you can borrow if you like? Bought one today actually. I think it'll work out OK, just deciding on whether I remove the skin entirely. There's a few internal braces in there that might get in the way, it has some dents that need work too.

Those lenses are all pretty rooted, some of the chrome backing plate are probably OK. I'll take a look soon (there are stored out of reach right now). I imagine lenses are available from the UK.
