4age distributor seal kit - where to get em locally?

My distributors been leaking for a fair while now and am finally ready to sort that shit out. 

 

However - I've asked at BNT and Appco without much luck. So does anyone know where to get a rebuild/seal kit from similar to what's in the link locally?

Is the internal seal leaking into the dizzy or just the outer O ring leaking oil out of the motor?

If you just need the O ring take the old one into a bearing shop and match it up.

Do you require a kit or is it just leaking from the o ring on the shaft going into the engine as it's quite common they leak

I bought that exact K-box kit a few years ago. Its seemed very good quality and solved my leak.

 

I am not aware of a similar locally available kit.

Again is it internal of the dizzy or the external o ring.

I would be inclined to remove the internal seal and bearing and pay a trip to a couple of your local bearing wholesalers.

Cheers for the replies! I knew I should've been more specific.

 

The dizzy is leaking steadily all over the engine and air-con pump so I guess the outer O-ring deff needs replacing.. But how can I tell if the inner O-ring is bung as well? Is it one of those things to refresh the whole lot at once?

Yeah mate, just get the kbox kit or the twos'r'us one which IIRC is the same crowd

I also brought the kbox kit worked great. I would put a whole kit in rather then doing one seal for all it cost while its out.

if inner seal is leaking like mine was then inside the dizzy cap will have lots of oil inside it.

If it's just the o-ring between the housing and head the talk to your local Toyota dealer, likely have them in stock.
