And here we are. Freshly legal!

Took a few snaps after giving it a good cane around.

I also put my Street CR rims back on the rear as well, cannot stand the 225/60's that were on there previously. Will be going to a Toyo T1R. Haven't finalised my decision for choice of profile yet.

Height needs to go up a fraction, little bit of guard rub with the 195/60's but will probably going down to a 175/60 which will resolve it all, and also remove my tire rub at full lock which the cert man and VINZ man both missed......

After going through page 1 and seeing the original interior I got with the car and all of that heinous carbon dipped rubbish I am very happy with how it is looking now!

Will be going to the 4&Rotary Jamboree next weekend as well if anyone else is going down.

I got a whole bunch of switches sent over from Yahoo auctions, 3 aren't wired up though. Might get some blanking plates when I can be bothered.

So I entered this in the 4&Rotary Jamboree here at Manfield, didn't come away with any awards but did end up the track for good 20-30 minutes doing a so called 'cruise'

If cruise means fanging it as much as you can, then that's exactly what we were all doing. Only letting about 30 cars on the track at a time so was well spread out. Didn't stop the quicker cars smoking me though!

I also mad dashed to paint the 14x7j Hayashi street's that I had on the front, as per the above images where they had been sand blasted by previous owner so were in need of a quick paint and sand. Chuffed with the result of a 1/2 pie job

Will get a go pro and do a good video whenever the next time will be

Been extremely reliable over the past month. Gone for 4 extreme hoons down windy roads and sticks like shit to a blanket. Wicked handling on this, like a damn go cart. Definitely the funnest car I have been in.

Don't know if I will make it go choo choo anytime soon. I think I might leave it as is and now invest into my KE25.

AE86's are a great investment for anyone that's interested.

Went up to pork chop hill and got a completely unexpected snap.

Spent a few days tidying up the mess in the engine bay. Much much better than what it was, removed a few bits and bobs.

Idle up when A/C is on? no no, idle down to 600rpm. Much nicer on the ears.

Due this week:

Willwood Dynapro's for the front from Baz at MRP. That should actually make the car slow down when the brakes are applied which will be grand.

Black carpet from Japan. The stuff in there before was sort of maroon. icky.

That will be it for a reasonable amount of time. KE25 is the new priority. Well, the two of them anyway..  :-)

Well, been a while. Much has happened with no photos taken. Man i'm awesome.

-Have Willwoods in the front, man what a difference!
-Have an alloy radiator in the front
-Have a new windscreen as the one in it decided to shatter to pieces on the way home from Toyotafest at Hampton downs. 6 hour drive with A/C on full blast, myself and my girlfriend wore helmets the whole time with bugs exploding on our helmets.

Cheers to the OS boys who stopped on the way back! I've got some photos somewhere that I will add sometime.

These photos are courtesy of.. ahh..... 0MEGAH|HAGEM0 ?
just did some cropping and visual edits for aesthetics.

Toyotafest 2017 @ Hampton downs.

Super happy with the car, once the narrow tyres warmed up it was a weapon on the track! Got it sideways a few times with a grin ear to ear.
More track days are required.

Due to come
-Vertex body kit which will have to be painted

So one day I decided that the power wasn't enough and I needed MOAR so have decided to build a turbo motor which will be around 250kw expected BHP using MRP bolt on pieces.
ps - I am shit with making up my mind...... motor goes in, motor comes out. rinse and repeat

Motor specs are: Stock bottom late GZE setup with ACL and ARP internals
Mildly ported head and oversized valves, stock cams for now but will go with some Kelford to suit Turbo engine

ARP goodness

Covering her up

Late model GZE pistons which are 9.0:1 and are factory forged. that is lubricant making them look dented, they aren't...

I will probably end up going with kelford cams, but I just wanted to get everything setup for the time being

I will also paint the rocker covers...

Painted the cam covers a nice semi-gloss black

I have a W58 on the way, adapter kit from SQEngineering and also trying to sort out a clutch setup too.
As it is more a daily driver I would like a Puk clutch type but with springs otherwise will be super bad in town conditions.

Not too much has happened in this space lately. Had a mate do some work on it: Fuel lines, drive shaft, gearbox crossmember for the W58 and a few other bits and bobs. top work and engine bay looks good. I just need to take it in and get it wired up, need to sort rear brakes out and also need to sort out a bit of diff play

I also scored some 14x8 -13 Longchamps from Japan which look tip top! fit well indeed

But here she is for now. Once i get some funds I will get it wired up and hopefully get it moving on it's own again:
