Thanks @brocky41 for the deal on the glass and surrounds. All installed and water tight now

Sold the euro r (took my amp and speakers out)  

Installed sound deadening and used Industy standard techniques to install the speakers 

I need to find some decent 6" for the front. I incorrect measured and ordered 5.25 which were out of stock luckily

It's interesting to see what treasures you find in a car 

There were 4 egg balls, various water bottles, three modems. A million chargers, a note from dad and some receipts

They got shafted on the rocker cover gasket. Genuine honda retails at 25+gst 

Took it to wash world and its cleaner now. Those wheels need to go ASAP. Might go grab my p1s off the shuttle

Also what's the main relay like? If you plan on keeping it for a lot of kms I have a new one laying about, sometimes the resoldering is only good for x amount of ks, may or may not fit as its for older honduhs..

Yeah I got good wholesome dad vibes from that note. Dad was probably paying for aa to look after the car too. 

 

Main relay has been fine so far (touch wood) 

Could be keen on it for the shuttle though

Send me pics of yours and I'll take a look at mine and see if it'll work. I got it for the lude because the original was too far gone. It should work as I used an ef part no.

Fixed the dizzy o ring and cam seal o ring so should fix those leaks. Did plugs and leads too while it was apart 

Did the sound deadening on the passengers door

What's the deal with the massive hole in the inlet manifold? Is it some oil breather type thing?

They have a cast Ali chamber on top for reasons? Maybe increase plenum volume or reduce doort noises? 

One of the earlier pics has shows the plenum sitting on top

Interesting, I saw that thing in an earlier picture but assumed it was just a cover thingee.

Helmholtz resonance chamber thing - My Gti-6 had one too. Noise + pressure waves to maximize intake runner pressure/flow/magic.

Mixed success at pick a part. Soneone beat me to the manual crv so that saved me some money. 

I grabbed the flywheel and a pedal box for hording though. 

Nabbed a set of pioneer speakers and nz new radio for the accord and nabbed the washer bottle cap as the old one was fucked 

 

Front speakers finally arrived for the orthia 

Had to trim the mounting tabs so they would fit

Holes don't perfectly line up but they are attached 

Amp fits perfectly under the seat which is good. Until you need to tune it

New old stock sub for more doof 

Went 10" as it needs a smaller box so will be easier to live with. The 12" takes up most of the boot space

Nz new radio and trim fitted. Goes hard for what it is now. 

Had air conditioning regased today. The compressor is fucked and had black poo all through the lines. It kinda works on the motorway now. Will Rock auto a tx valve, filter and seal set over and find a compressor locally then find some caring and will clean the lines and condenser out in the future

The gc who did the regas noticed a coolant leak. 

Clearly I missed that spring clip. 

It must have popped off on the drive over as it was still dripping. Didn't get hot or cold on the gauge. Refitted and refilled and it's as good as it was

Dude quoted 160 but did me a solid as compressor was fucked/ill have to go back for another regas once I fix everything

So I've been pining some wheels for a long time now, I found a set in America that had some on s a pre order. covid delayed shipping etc etc. Shop never replied to any communications (lucky I never gave them any money. I found another set on aliexpress but couldn't justify the freight.

Nearly gave up on the pine then they popped up on trademe. 

Mrs Chrisr said I wouldn't shut the fuck up about them so I should get them.
