J-W-G
Yeah man they need to fit snug, be welded well and pass crack and x ray testing
Brennan
what are you planning on for the engine? if you sticking with 4k or even stock 4age i wouldn't even look at adjustable coilovers. Custom springs and decent shock inserts would be sweet. and cheap.
jake.
Engine swap wont be for a while yet, will either go 4age or something similar. love the beams motor in yours but looks like alot more work than the 4age?I mainly just want coilovers so i can adjust the height on the go, e.g have it slammed all the time but raise it up for long trips ect. more just a looks thing
Bling
Just roll low springs and have balloon tyres for long trips. Unless you're not worried about legalities, you can't adjust the height up or down more than 5% of the certed height. The correct answer is to just run slammed 24/7 though. Sweet car, i'm slightly biased though.
0R10N
Yuss, those TS-X8s definitely look the part! Glad to see them go to a good home.
jake.
Current springs already make it pretty much sit on bump stops. If I was to go lower without coilovers would have to get another set of bump stops to cut down. But first I'm saving for some wheels to go on this! jake.
Cheers Ed! Was very surprised with how good they sound, being such old speakers and all, plenty loud too.
Brock-Lee
Cut the shit outta those bump stops. Guarantee it will be 20 times nicer to drive. Make it look nice though.
jake.
Will it still pass a wof if I cut them nicely? Would mean one less thing to change before each wof. Guess if I do it nicely there's not much way to tell haha
Threeonthetree
I have seen this thing hooning down the Southern motorway before. Kept wondering if it was owned by someone on here. It looks lovely!
jake.
Have made quite a few trips down the southern since i got this so was probably me. Cheers
Brock-Lee
Cut them so they still have a point to them and tidy them up with a flapper disk / similar and as long as they still hit before other things (diff/other arms etc) you wont have a WOF issue. Maybe.
