I replaced the battery in the HP laptop that a client gave me after the hinges seized. I've taped the screen onto the hinges and now I can play with the Link ECU software

As there are so many of you very smart fellas with these electronic gadgets with boards and fancy pants stuff here, im desperately after a thing and hoping someone would like to make it.

 

I have a 24v and 0.2a circuit that needs to be broken on a regular time between 2 - 5 mins ( of which I'd like the time to be adjustable ).  Either digital or clock face, don't particularly care but assuming digital is easier to do.

It is a 1 wire feed. Currently insulated Spade terminals. 

It can be powered via 240v plug into wall, maybe if you're clever you could have the box turning itself on when it receives the 24v signal and again off when it's not received 24v signal for more than a nominal amount of minutes?

It also wants to be insulated to whatever housing it's in or plastic box. Maybe even mounted with strong magnets that will support its own weight and cable.

If someone is keen to do, can you give me a cost and how quickly can this be done and couriered to waikato.

The microswitch has a weirdo nubly bit on the end thingy. If the local agent can't supply part (not listed) or switch Manufacturer Part Number, then I'ma slam an inductive proximity sensor in there (no moving parts).

You said Nickel plating... sounds like you meant zinc? Depends what you are trying to achieve. 

Zinc is cheap, copper/nickel/chrome is not.

For zinc coating of fasteners/backets etc I use Acme Electroplating in Penrose.
