Snoozin
Wow dude that is shaping up to be a beautiful thing. The metalwork in the back looks impeccable. Have you got a desired completion time?
pe-arce
Cheers, I used to be a stainless fabricator so I learnt a few skills doing that. Now Im a lowly dairy farmer who thought he was into the big bucks but at current payout... not so much. Â Each year I say "Ill have it finished for this years ashburton street sprints"Â Â And then they come and go and I say "ah well, next year"

pe-arce
Thanks for the positive words.  Yesterday i decided fuck it ill have a proper go at getting it finished. Luckily i have a supportive wife.. I rekcon itll be about another 16k to get it done.  Have booked it in to have the cage done next week so dropping it off today or tomorow. Wanted to buy the gears and do the cage myself but my mig is a bit shit so not that keen to weld the cage using it.. also time factor.. i dont have enough of it so if i can pick it up with a finished cage once im back from my holiday in 2 weeks ill be stoked.  Got a  304mm AP racing brake kit lined up for it. Yum.  Then i just need to get the intake off glen, finish the plumbing of dry sump, cooling, and fuel.  finish the welding  Wire up, tune, strip, paint, re assemble, set up race.  Sounds easy. Ha!
pe-arce
Ive got a local guy to me who is going to wire up and tune it. He uses Life Racing ecu's..  Has anyone had any experience using them? I thought itd be easy to use him so i dont have far to go if i need work done in the future. And im a bit retarded when it comes to electrical work.  Or  Should i just go link like everyone else?  Any input/experience would be appreciated... Remember whatever ecu i use I need 8 injector drivers.. 2 stage.. fuck yeah

Celica RA45
or the new motec m series ecus
Stu
Those new motecs are pretty cool from what I've seen of them, but second the recommendation for a link - the latest g4+ firmware is pretty trick!
Celica RA45
sorry should have said M 1 ecus which are half the price of the m800 ecus and come with all of the fruit as std
pe-arce
Oh true? Cause the m800 is pricey so that's why I havnt gone there.. I'll look into the new one. I think the guy local to me does motec ecu's also.
