Snoozin
No way man. I'm completing a full refurbishment of the wheels, one is currently having about 65mm of kerb damage fixed along with the slight bend where the the kerning was, then I'll be stripping them over the next week in preparation for a polish on the lips and finally a coat of new colour and new genuine stickers for that cherry on the top. Wheels won't go on until the suspension is done, there is about 4k in coilovers, torsion bars, shocks, bushes, caster blocks and miscellany to save for that but I'm on target!

Snoozin
Oh I'm also going to have to pull the brakes apart and spruce them all up because they're a little bit dirty etc and we can't have that behind gleaming sparkly wheelsm

Snoozin
IMG_9363 by SnoozinRichy, on Flickr Had the plates remade so I could pop a proper one on the front, never did like that sticker.
Popular Post Snoozin
Removed the spec/QC stickers from the inner barrels as such (gotta retain these details right?) IMG_0770 by SnoozinRichy, on Flickr They're kept in a book, in the hope they'll stay flat on the backing of an old sticker I found laying about the place. So then it was time to get rid of the grotty old golden hue. One trip to the acid dipper (recommend Kwik Strip, on Patiki Rd if you need anything done!) and a couple of hours with some coarse sandpaper evening out some pits and depressions and these are now ready to have the lips attended to and polished to that mirror shine! Snoozin
944 phone by SnoozinRichy, on Flickr Went to Nats, got it really fucking dirty so gave it a clean then took a pic on the phone. This is it. I don't care really about the car being clean or whatever but the fact the phone can do this is a little bit neat.
kyteler
Phwoar. Neato. I feel spesh that I got to idle it up to the photoshoot parkup although the clucth did seem uber-weird after operating the on/off button Celicastang clutch.
Archetype
I had a close up squiz of this at Leadfoot, and it is so lovely and clean. I ogled it briefly from afar at Nats too, and it's great to see a car like this being used and maintained so well. Â I reckon you'd appreciate my Dad's (non-Porsche) car, as he looks after his vehicles really well too. I don't know how he doesn't have stumps for fingers with all the cleaning and polishing he does.

Willdat?
Carjammed it, 944S... not keen, next one will be an S2. Just more oomph or?
Snoozin
S2 is just the ultimate NA 944, 3l 16v, big brakes (Brembos) and a nicer looker - the 8V's are a cracking drive all the same though, and cheaper to maintain. Would own another 8v in a heartbeat, but if you do buy one I reckon the oval dash model is the one to get. Just a much nicer place to be than the early ones with 924 interior. The 944S (2.5l 16v) isn't much advantage over an 8V model (single digit hp increase and the same brakes/suspension/interior/exterior) that in my mind justifies the extra expense involved in maintaining one, and buying one.
