gazguy
bought these forks to put on the triumph. got them for 35 bucks from trademe. they should be here in a couple of day. theyre from a suzuki b120. until then ive fitted these which are a similar size. i put some apes on it too to see what it would look like. not too keen on them for this bike but will use them for another triumph i'll be building in the future
Chris.QCR
The rear end looks outstanding!! Never used to like apes at all but they kinda suit it . Maybe a couple inches lower
EURON8
Looks like the proportions are spot on man, Bike looks wicked. I think the apes suit it, as Chris said, maybe a tad lower but i think your arms need to have an upward angle to them. What are the wheel specs? What are the wheel specs? a set of mini apes would be cool. ive got a set of pull backs which i was gonna chop, slug and adjust the rake. the front wheel is a 21inch suzuki dr front wheel and the rear is a 17 inch triumph. ive got a honda cb77 front drum which im thinking of putting on instead of the dr but the cb77 looks quite big. whichever ive choose im gonna polish the hub when i come to get them rebuilt

gazguy
i cut the spokes and removed the rim and dismantled the brake and kinda polished it up abit. Finally found a guy that builds wheels. hes next to the salvation army op shop in sydenham. a 2 minute walk from my work which is handy put the new forks on which came today. paints rough and chrome is shot but theyre solid and the stanchions and seals are good. 2 of the bolts which clamp the bars had been snapped. also stripped the paint from the tank and it looks galvanise under all the paint
gazguy
cut my finger at work and got 3 stitches and a tetanus jab and have the rest of the week off so im gonna strip the forks down ready for painting and modify the lower yokes for the bump stops and headlight mount. this is where i want the headlight to sit.
