AllTorque Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Oh boy. I had a WB ute and always swooned over the statesman. The last of HQ based Holdens before they went all commonwhore. Such luxury. 1 Quote

KKtrips Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Just saw it's got a 308 in it, I thought these badboys had the Chev in them. Or were there both options? Quote
dr.wylde Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 the only option was the 308 but the earlier ones have the TH350 auto 1 Quote
Threeonthetree Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Ahh, the Statesman from Palmy. I've had this saved on my watchlist for aaaages and managed to perve at it in person when I was last in Palmerston North. Great to see another old Holden on OS and what a Holden at that! I hope you cruise through Oamaru at twenty five miles an hour with a Max Merritt & The Meteors tape playing through the luxurious sound system, while you laze back in your sheepskin lined seat. Such elegance. I love it! 1 Quote
SOHC Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Your deVille looks mint, I was going to buy one once, the guy bought it over and parked it in my drive, we couldn't make it go for love nore money, it stayed there over night and then when he picked it up he robed my house 1 Quote
