I wouldn't have panelled up my windows if I didn't have the piece from the parts van that's for sure. Plus ive got another van with windows, made sense to have one with windows and one without. Im still learning, using the old mans set up and help. Yeah you should throw yours up, always good to see what other people do with theres

You'll have to fight me for them haha Was looking for ever for a set of widened rostyles. Have only ever seen two sets for sale on TM and I was lucky enough to pick one of them up. Easy option could be minilites/superlites? always look good on any escort

Great work on the welding bro, slow and steady eh?

Cheers man. Have been watching your build, some serious work going on there. Its going to be one solid bug

Someone on the other side of the weld holding a brass block to suck up the heat helps. Slow and steady, little bits here and there to not heat up one spot. Would rather take my time now and get it right than to worry about warping.

nice work on the panels, and thanks for sharing  :)  Time for me to hunt out a rotten van that I can cut the sides out of for mine!

cheers Conrad

No worries, its actually pretty straight forward if you have the panel. I had another rusty van without windows i scraped but i kept both sides of the body with the panels intact. Pretty sure someone removed the windows and made the panels to fit but if your serious/desperate i can have a good look at them and see how well they were made?

thanks for the offer, I will keep it in mind. Too many other projects/work to sort at the moment, but might  get back to you on that when I am ready :)

Got a bunch of it done last night. Once I figured it out it was really easy and tidy. Stole the Mrs hairdrier and just heated up the matting first, they mold really well once warm. Have done pretty much from half way up the firewall, through both footwells and under the seats, rear footwells and just need to finish off under the back seat. Surprise dhow much coverage that one pack gave!

Nice flares! Well done!

Cheers man, still a bit more work to tidy them up and match the drivers side before i prime. First/last time i shape flares

Looks great wish is had welding skill like that. What colour are you painting it?

Not 100% sure on the color, always changing my mind. Not even sure if i want it dark like Gun metal grey, or light like the orange thats on there now. Have to choose carefully because theres no windows to break it up. Have even contemplated oldschool stripes or signwriting, to help break up that area
