Cheers pal - the patina is cool aye.

Thanks for the comment - it sounds nice and crisp in he flesh too.

Still needs a good tune and a decent  fanging for good measure.

Mase-rx is me on Snapchat if anyone is interested.  I post a few vids etc on there too.

So 4 things needed to fix for cert

(1) Wheel alignment - print out emailed for cert

(2) bump stops on the rear struts - done

(3) speedo stickers made as my calibration is 17% out.

(4) hand brake cable - we tried spacing them out however the rear sections are just too long.  I’m booking it into a professional outfit hopefully next weekend so I can get custom hand brake cable made.

Then thats cert sorted and compliance also as I need a working handbrake.

It’s only money aye

Pretty sure the hand brake is working all sweet after some shortening!

Will be booking the next available Cert check and then it’s back to the compliance centre to complete the process and gain plates.

So here is one hell of an update for y’all....

Clint came over for the final cert check this morning and it passed!

I’m now awaiting the cert plate (up to 10 working days) then it’s back to compliance for the plates.

Hope to be legal for the Burger King meet on the 13th.

oh - small update...cut up the original gear stick and welded it to the rude short shift stick. It now shifts a lot smoother. I will cut and rethread it by like 5cm to be at the perfect length.
