kyteler
Almost expect to see stink lines off some of those shots. Cripes. Not exactly a glamorous photo-shoot. Looks like she's pretty enough though, just poor direction/awareness. Car looks good!

sidewaysickness
Yes we must!
yoeddynz
So full rebuild time means you need a classic car ( chevette) to see you through while you do the repairs. That way you can cruise about in your old car (chevette) and go to some meets in your old car (chevette) while impressing the local Nelson ladies in your cool old car (chevette) I know just the car (chevette) you need..... Its a Chevette!
sidewaysickness
While the chevette is a fine example and I do feel that I need a oldschool daily I'm not sure that a chevette is the answer. But I may as well see how much you are offering for me to take it off your hands
yoeddynz
Probably too much. I think duncan wants 2500 which is cheap for a very mint chevette but probably a bit much for your wasn't of a filler classic to see you through.?
yoeddynz
Enough room in there for three 12As linked together in line with some machined up steel flanges. Would be epic. 6 rotor. I think you should do it and I will be the first to offer to come round and watch.
sidewaysickness
Watch it blow up? Or watch it burn more fuel than it does anyway? I could do fit multiple rotors and modgies just for you Alex, but I don't think I could tell my parents that I'm gay. (Disclaimer: I do appreciate rotors for what they are, they are just not my choice of propulsion)
yoeddynz
You've not told them yet!?
sidewaysickness
Na I haven't, If I did that I would ruin my chances of inheriting a sweet 1955 Bedford bus.
yoeddynz
Length of bus = 34 12a engines linked together to form.. (hang on...)... 204a 64 rotor powered Bedford! You would have to allow for wind up and set the ignition timing out front to back..or something.. but yeah. What a talking point at next NZMCA motor home event!
SOHC
What dose LTD meen? Lincoln Thunderbird Division?
sidewaysickness
Ford has never specified exactly what it means, so there are alot of ideas on what it means. Lincoln type design, luxury trim decor, lovely to drive, limited and of course little tiny dick
BlownCorona
could you remove the broken lense, and fill it with something like plaster of paris to make a mold (im sure there's something better but i cant think of what it is) and then take it to an acrylic place to press a new piece of plastic over the plug? ive seen machines that heat up acrylic sheet then you can pull it over the plug and vacuum it down. sidewaysickness
I guess you could do that but it seems like alot of work when I think an almost undetectable repair would suffice
