10Speed
A friends car, 1997 Demio, has the airbag light blinking 6 times... but I can not find a list of these codes anywhere online does anyone have access to one of these?
AllTorque
My info for 121 only has 1-4 flashes. For 323 6 flashes = driver's air bag
KKtrips
http://www.miata.net/garage/airbag_blink.html edit : beaten but that info says the same thing - drivers side airbag faulty.
10Speed
right... so most likely the clock spring? (edit: this is exactly what the miata link says)
michael0008
try cleaning the connections first to airbag ect
10Speed
had a look at this today... looks like the airbag itself is faulty, I tested continuity (after breaking the short from the weird protective plug) and got no resistance... tried a 2 ohm resistor in the plug on the car and the light turned off,,,
AllTorque
I wouldn't recommend testing continuity of an airbag. It can cause the airbag to deploy due to the small voltage induced by the mutimeter.
