sluggy
Decided that this was the only way forward, going backwards. cage is pretty much chopped - seat going towards the rear 5", and losing the funny car cage bit altogether, should be sorted in a week, then forward again...

Popular Post sluggy
Bit of work on the shroud And after getting stuff made by others and not being that enthusiastically full of happiness about the result, I bought a cheap ish bead roller and started work on the tin. While not perfect, it's passable and once powder coated should be sweet....
Popular Post sluggy
I cant help myself, after selling these a couple of years ago, I just bought them back, these were in the old slug that made 200hp at the flywheel and ran a 12.43 before I had some major oiling issues. Long term Im thinking maybe a small capacity destroked screamer. 64 stroke 94 bore 1776 ccs. lots of lift/duration/revs... *insert money into pit here*

Popular Post sluggy
Shroud is getting close - Any suggestions on a clear coat that wont melt ? The guy who has done the cf work is a boat builder, so not quite sure what to coat it with. Anyway its looking pretty schmicky, just bonding the mount and a bit of tickling up this week and we should be done...

Popular Post sluggy
Soooo, have actually been doing some work on it, wiring with the help of Stu, made my life a million times easier, nearly sorted the power feed side of it (front seats forward bit And I am never allowed to go to the speedshow again because this happened And clutch finally got here, twin plate small diameter set up, so now Ill tear the engine down, get the crank reebalanced with this, check all the oil clearances cause I didnt build it initially, and respring the heads, cause they are over americanised (triple springs) Season is creeping up on me again, but Im feeling motivated to make it this year...
