Marsh
Hi all Have bought a 4age to put into my start and also got a set of sidedraft dellortos for it. What is the best way to block off the injector holes into the head? Was thinking either tapping and screwing in bolts or using something like sellys kneed it or quik steel

DJZ
I can't recall what a 4AGE head looks like but there are these things on Trademe, way more expensive that using frost plugs as suggested though. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/mazda/engines/auction-552216496.htm
flyingbrick
Get someone to machine up some aluminum plugs to be a press fit into injector holes. Use loctite/ gasket sealer if you feel the need. Wack in with a mallet. Only good thing about those Tm ones is that they can be removed easy. ( you could always drill and tap aluminum plugs and use slide hammer to remove if desired
Marsh
Cheers guys. Frost plugs sound like the easiest way to go for me.

Seedy Al
In the past i have just tapped the injector holes and wound in some Grub Screws
vivaspeed
Frost plugs are good if you ever want to use the head to run injection again because you can just knock them out and place injectors back in.
