Rookie Posted March 11, 2013 Author Share Posted March 11, 2013 Na that tank is made out of olde English steel about 3mm thick, we couldn''t pull the dents out with the dent puller at the panel shop so it is full of bog hahaha. Yea I was quite stoked with how good I got it in the end but it was still a long way off in the photo, gave it another crack tonight and it should be mint. The crack testing was $125 an hour, and they took 2 hours to do it, so obviously a bigger/smaller job would cost more/less, I thought it was quite expensive because I got the arms on my lotus tested for a box of beer, but hey, I need it done and they are local so I don't have to travel.
