kyteler
Having the spotties in there is key. So cool. The Sunny Excellent one is cooler again but I don't think you'll get one of them in a hurry/probably 50 on YAJ.
Snoozin
$140 seems pretty cheap for something as cool as that tbh, get all up in it's grille
kicker
Yeah man, lets cut some stuff
Truenotch
Reckon 6kg might be a bit hard for a road going Datsun?
Beaver
probably. Easy enough to change though. I had a yarn to the guys at the shop (speed factor or something?) and they reckoned they had done a bunch of similar conversions (corollas, 1200s etc) and most ended up 5-6. But yes, Id believe what you say over them haha
Rookie
I would be keen for 4kg in a road car.
Truenotch
Yeah. 6kg works well in the front of road going AE86's that are a solid 200kg heavier than this car with more weight over the nose. See how you go, I'd suspect that 6kg would only ride nicely with top quality shocks.
Beaver
Cool, thanks for the heads up.
lowlancer
Get some old fagg at a dulux shop to mix you up some sweet lacquer using the facotry paint code. Assume you have a compressor so buy a gravity fed gun, mix in some turps/thinners, rough old paint up, clean with grease remover and boost in on nice and even until you use all the paint up. No need to be all fancy about it.Is how I did it back in the day and ended up alright once I cut it back.
Beaver
yeh nah I dont own shit/dont have a compressor, was planning on borrowing someones
KKtrips
Light skim should cost about $30-40. You are getting a new clutch to go with this? BnT may be able wrangle you a discount at the shop next door to get your flywheel machined.
Beaver
yep new clutch
kyteler
Fuck yeah, big block a-series. The 310 goes pretty well for what it is, I think you'll be happy with the upgrade.
Mitch.W
yeah a15's are so sweet. had one in a 1200 ute and went really well for a mostly standard engine. can't wait to see this thing slammed on the new wheels. RUNAMUCK
If you buy a kit, an F/wheel refacing is usually thrown in free.
