shizzl
ok, today i was staring at a couple of carbs on my bench at work that were stripped down. and started asking myself' can these be set up so that they all mount onto a common fuel bowl???????? the reason i ask is because i have a few of these sitting here in various states of fucked upness.. (broken fuel bowls, missing floats etc) if it can be done, what is the best way to do it? i was thinking make a long rectangular box that the carbs mount on,with holes drilled into it for the fuel to get to the jets obviously... a fuel inlet at one end and an outlet to the tank at the other end... will this fuel outlet be enough to stop the carbs flooding?? you can probably tell i havent had a whole heap to do with carbs, well really techy shit anyway.. Rookie
Huge exercise for no gain. Unless the carbs you have are worth moonbeams, just buy some that work.

Unclejake
fuck off if youv got nothing to add. i asked a legitimate fucking question FFS Well, that ought to motivate people to help you/sarcasm. The carbs would flood as soon as you got an any angle or under G force (like in a corner) so it would not be viable except for a stationary engine
smokin' joe
fuck off if youv got nothing to add. i asked a legitimate fucking question FFS try it an report back
BlownCorona
what uj said, fuel would slosh around and then force fuel through the jets at either end.

Anything can be done with enough time and money, but is it worth it? Usually not. p.s I also echo the above comment.
