Great going dude - i love what youve done with this car - unfortunately (and fortunately in some ways) buying a property means i cant spendy $$ on my own.

Just to let you know, if you didnt already, i think from memory the LD bellhousing mounts are slightly further round than the Petrol L6 ones which means your shifter (and whole gearbox) will be on an angle.

Good work using a "C" style gearbox - are easy to get a hold of these days.

Cheers for the heads up, hopefully it'll be ok otherwise I have a petrol B bellhousing that I could have machined to allow it to fit.

If anybody spies any 15x8 0 offset 5x114.3 Streetfins or anything of interest for that matter, ring my bell

9's are gonna need some work to fit, looks like they'll stick out from the guard about 20mm

What do people think, keep guards stock and shorten diff or flare the guards a bit (they are tough as shit to work with so wouldn't do that myself either)

Was that in the 330 wag?

I should have measured my axles when they were out, was hoping they might have some spare spline and could just cut a bit off the end.

I think to get them sitting the same as my current rims I would need an inch of each side

Kicker, I admire your motivation, you sure are getting shit done.

It is a pity though that it's not a wagon.

Someone giz 330 wag, would put all my trinkets in it, triples, LSD, porno cig lighter, the works

Also I picked up some 9mm rods from an L24 ages ago to go with my L28 for potential stroker build

If im correct - it was the same diff that was in the Gloria?? - is a good idea as there is oodles of guard clearance on the inside to max out the dish department. Its only leaves that are the limiting factor.

If i was you, id look out for a Hilux 2wd complete diff (pick a part) and find a 3.9 etc LSD, as ive heard from (or you can chat to) from Fletch (with the silver 230 Wagon) that the spring platforms line up to the leaves. Shorten that to suit as 5x114.3, slam wheels on and get two wheels going. :-)  :-)

Mohit on the datsun site is selling an LD28 crank you could use for said stroker - although you'd have to talk him down from two hundred lotsa monnies.
