Logo
Good lordy no power or anything since saturday due to crazy cyclone like weather conditions over the whole state.... Just enquiring to know if anyone knows of sites that reproduce escort parts? Body and engine alike? Churr Nearly forgot... People are confused to me saying its a mk2, anyone correct me? Body shape seems similar like a ghia or mk 2 they refer to it as a bc but people are unsure what it is especially when i ask about parts... Any helps would be o for awesome
durty
is definately a mk2
Logo
yeah what i assumed due to the shape etc but they were confused. Even more confusing when the parts shop says that there were no mk2 things in the book till 1977. Will have to decide on which way it goes either the more rallyish style or local drive which well... Seems to be dirt roads with kangaroo corpses sprawled along it. Dusty skids?
tortron
Bullbars Spotlights actually learn to drive Do those I also chuckled at the v8 badges
Logo
Was going to get some little ones for the front but i keep seeing them on every car and they just look.... Horendous, same with bullbars on like tiny little cars. Also i can drive.... Just have to fully restart my entire licence etc here which seems to take longer than nz... Can have the v8 badges or if anyone wants them as they will most likely just be torn off otherwise this gu down at the workshop might take them for his v6 to v8 old falcooooon conversion. Logo
Sweet should be cheaper. Yeah well i was a numpty and just waiwai expressed everywhere and ended up sitting on my learners for a good six or so years.... But eh Yeah might give the wheels a touch up, unfortunately.......... There is only three.... And two of the other one on the spare so ill go hunting. Lower it, maybe find some others to dish. Also see if there is any bullbars to put on it for a lol probably have to make some brackets for it and im lazy with things like that. Also scorpions are apparently only out in the wopwops Today ill see if i can be productive maybe touch up some of the minor things and order parts. How do i find which weather strip fits the car? Go for the classic look, street look or a rally look?

Logo
Well apparently no one knows what type or the name of the rims I have. I know they are chevoits but the searches ive done come up saying they are rare blah blah anyone know where you can find these? Or if someone has a spare one they want to sell me would be o for awesome. Also noticed the rubbish paintjob someone has done its somewhat orange peeling so it has bumps all over it, either that or its there to grip at the air. Only way to fix this would be assuming a respray? But yeah if anyone knows if some of these rims are around would be good Cheers

Logo
But the whole car is bumpy like it has goosebumps i feel like someones done it on purpose. Anywho will be destroyed off and probably redone and some stage... Migt keep it red and black its grown on me. Got some stuff to respray the grill and all the black trim, along with sound deadener spray and some underseal boot will hopefully be redone soon and then paint up and grind the poo welds on the towbar. Migt make it huge and put a singke spotlight on the back to blind following vehicles.

Logo
Alrighty, I will update this discussion and spin it to another one for the new escort and try catch up the progress that I've done on it and see. Anyone know of easy ways or other engines I could install like an sr20det into the 4door, yet its automatic, or anything else I would need to upgrade for it such as brakes, suspension, mounts etc etc would be muchly appreciated
N3K
A lot of people go for 4AGE engines in the old escort. Black top. Off of a Toyota. Also you could look at a Zetec engine which is for example out of a Ford Mondeo. Awesome stuff! Sucks you had to sell the 2door! So rare!
