The pads are super old and the bits where the friction material came off had rust behind it.

I checked it after some of the downhill runs and it wasn't that hot, I guess for a single revolution there is a billion more disc to heat up compared to a conventional one.

I'll do some more performance testing and report back with findings and or injuries

Update cos i'm bored.

Since last time I have a couple new bikes

Another slam bike, 20" this time so it will fit in the car :)

Picked this up at Nats 14, Raleigh Magnum Mach II, hooned one of these as a kid

Decided to jazz it up a bit with a 3 piece crank, skyways, MX-1 stem, new chain and pedals, gumwall Panaracers and a few stickers

Slowly getting the garage tidy

The bike in the bottom right of the above pic is one I'm tidying up at the mo.

I needed a regular bike I can put a seat on for my daughter to go for rides, have welded on some disc brake mounts, added mtb wheels and rear shifter, seat sits on the cross bar, shakedown runs successful, plenty of swooning from ladies young and old haha.

Now to have it stripped and powdercoated.

I sold my HMX-500 and scrapped a pile of other unneeded stuff too

Good times
