Fresh Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Man that is sweet!! Where do I get me a chin spoiler haha? Yeah its got cut springs at the moment, as low as it will go while staying captive, will eventually get shocks shortened and go a bit lower but as it is it scrapes over everything. Still want it to be reasonably practical. Quote
Fresh Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Yep, sure am from Christchurch. Have only seen one of these in Christchurch so far that is a Grande, and it was white and quite rugged. Quote
Fresh Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Those photos make me drool. I cant wait to have mine looking something like that. Not really much progress at the moment. I have got new tyres for the front and dropped the profile of them a bit, makes it look a bit nicer. Will try and get the rims polished in the next few weeks sometime. And I am in the process if trying to source some fender mirrors and a front lip. Does anyone know if any other cars have lips that can be modded to fit a GX71? I have heard from someone that VW Golfs have ones that fit??? Apart from that the big mods wont start till next year. Quote
Bistro Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 the front lip on the white one is standard mate, just appears yours doesnt have it. most gx71/mx73 etc have them. is that the type you are wanting or a bigger version? Quote
Fresh Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Id be happy as larry with one of those standard ones. I never realised they came standard. Anyone know where I can get one? Quote
Mr dori Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 honda civic flat back hatch ones fit perfect and are deeper than stock Quote
lowlancer Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 IMO this is too modern stylistically for fender mirrors Quote
lowlancer Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 I reckons it would likely look as good with or without. Having looked at the other pics with them fitted, it does look pretty mean, provided they're the right ones Quote
Fresh Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Found some today. Electric and identical to the ones on the white Mark II posted above. Hopefully get them on next weekend, I need to find the caps that go on the door where my old mirrors are. Quote
Prof Schnorz Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 i used a r32 spolier for my lip, looks alright, also i converted myn to guard mirrors instead Quote
J-Calico Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 if you ever ditch your 1ggeu id be keen to buy it for my GX61 sedan Quote
