(before getting stuck in the wrong lane and heading back over the harbor bridge)Back home.Unfortunately the rego has lapsed so will need a re-vin. drivekp60
So i picked up some work equip 01s, haven't measured them yet but i think they are 14x8 - something and 14x7 + something. This is how they looked when i got them. I didn't like the black centers so i scraped the paint off and gave them a bit of a polish. Also swapped the park lights, headlights, front and rear bumpers for kouki Levin (facelift) items along with fog lights and cut the springs. A shot of the interior which i haven't touched yet. Ive had this ae86 gauge cluster stashed away for a while so finally have a use for it. The bumpers are pretty rough as they are off a drift car from japan but will do till i find some that are better. One of the park lights and indicator lenses are broken so if anyone has any laying around pm me. Callum
drivekp60
Fitted some new tyres to the equips today. 165 60s all round which gave a few troubles getting them on the 8s but got it sorted in the end. Also got round to installing the ae86 cluster, i swapped the odometers over to keep original kms. Heres a few shots of my dads supercharged ae86 that ive been borrowing for the drift south street legal class. discuss: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32955 Callum

drivekp60
So it looks although this rust bucket is going to turn into a full time track car. In that case. Should do a bit of an update but nothing too exiting has happened so that is it for now. //oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32955 Callum

drivekp60
Ah so its been a while since my last post. Have made some progress recently. Small port 4age is now fitted with a t50 and locked t series diff. Interior is minimal, bride fixed back seat, harness and a Nardi wheel and that's about it. Robbed the coil overs out of my Starlet and cut down some old lowering springs for the rear. The exterior is pretty basic, some facelift bumpers and fog lights. some 13x7 / 13x8 ssr mk2s with 155 65s all round. A raspy straight pipe with a Yoshimura muffler on the end to make those ears bleed. crappy bookface link from out at Ruapuna the other day. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=703167629734564 Callum
drivekp60
So ive been mucking around with this lately. The new look (version 2) is well under way. Chucked my 14x8 work equips on the front with 155 55s and some 14x7 starsharks on the back with 165 60s. Fixed up my fiberglass Goodline bonnet that had flown open on the previous owners car. Gave it a coat of white paint then fitted some alloy bonnet pins to hold it down. Fitted up my zenki lip. Now that im running 14s i have a little more clearance which avoids the lip getting sucked underneath the bumper. Put some tint over the fog lights to change it up a bit more. Also picked up some face lift mirrors which have really grown on me. Lastly i acquired a fiberglass hatch that has an oem spoiler molded in. A weight saving of 10kgs even with a glass window. Ive got a drift day coming up in a few weeks time, only small bits and pieces left to do. discussion: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/32562-drivekp60s-1983-ae85/page-2 Callum
