Been driving the tits off this thing for the past few weeks so much fun to drive!

In today's news I woke to a txt from Sheepers "Nick (the guy who was at my house yesterday) tells me that pick a part Hamilton lists a 74 vega S/W In stock.

You should totally check it out. "

So within ten minutes I was in my car picking up retep130 and sentra and on our way to buttfuckin Hamilton to check it out!

She pretty fucking rusty! But was a treasure trove for small pieces that I may need in future like tail lights n shit. Also was a 'GT' so has nicer door cards and a manual gear box, unfortunately box was gone already but I did take the manual pedals incase I want to manualise it at a later date! Fuck yeh!

Oh and it had the front valance I was missing it was in bad shape but 100% restorable!

If I had lots of money I would have taken all the windows but oh well still a mint hoard

My vega is Nz new so has black plates, but the front black plate came pretty ruined it looks like someone lost the original one and has found another plate and riveted on a letter but then I'm not sure why it doesn't have the top and bottom? That's a mistery.

Anywho what I've done is traced around another black plate I had and cut out the centre to math my fucked plates and silicone the middle part in. And mount into a stainless backing plate I'll fill gaps when dry and paint it I sapose

Ended up selling the vega to my old man so perfect scenario since I still enjoy working on it and my dad hates working on cars just likes driving them. So I still get to finish it with someone else's money haha

Greg at midnight upholstery gave the seats a fresh re trim came out mint! Summit racing package turned up this morning with rear end control arm bushes and a new steering box to get rid of the play in the steering. Chur
