Im doing a cosmetic reuild on my old mans DR250, anyhow one of the engine mount bolts had seized in the motor and a local bike shop told me to heat up the offending case around it to get it out, which didnt work. (Ended up CUTTING the frame to get the motor out) But now the motors leaking oil from the casejoint. JB Weld looks like a viable option according to the internet, bike is getting traded in so dont want to spend $$$$ getting it fixed. So anyone on here used it to oil in??? Thanking you with much.

Ive used it in bottom end of my Vespa. Specifically in the transfer ports. So the JB Weld now gets covered in two stoke gas.

Its been in there for about 10 years!

To prep the surface I just cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol, then score the surface to give the JB something to key into. Then more isopropyl. Mix and apply the JB. File and sand the JB.

POP A WHEELIE.
