Truenotch Posted February 5, 2013 Author Share Posted February 5, 2013 We finally had a rain-free weekend at Hampton! The car was running well and I managed to qualify on pole and then win all three races . That's my first clean sweep for the season and it also bodes well for the rest of the championship. The next round is this weekend (9th & 10th) at Manfeild and I'll be doing the 1 hour enduro too - should be good fun. Vids: Race 2 - reverse grid. I started off the back and had to work very hard to get to the front on the last lap (note: contact at 10:30 in the vid). Race three - off the front with a busy start! Not too bad for a first summer season! This one is my favourite: More I ran it at Round 1 of the Manfeild winter series with limited success... A spin in each of the first two races made it interesting! Dad leased it out for round two, so for now it can totter around the track and pay for it's own upkeep while I spend more time on the 86.
