We finally had a rain-free weekend at Hampton! The car was running well and I managed to qualify on pole and then win all three races . That's my first clean sweep for the season and it also bodes well for the rest of the championship.

The next round is this weekend (9th & 10th) at Manfeild and I'll be doing the 1 hour enduro too - should be good fun.

Lucky you weren't directly behind the black Series 1 RX-7 when it shit itself. I saw the nice coating of oil on the front of Julian's car.

So I ended up winning the season with something like 14 race wins out of 18 races, pole position in 4 of 6 rounds and a lap record at every track.... Not too bad for a first summer season!

I ran it at Round 1 of the Manfeild winter series with limited success... A spin in each of the first two races made it interesting! 
 

 

Dad leased it out for round two, so for now it can totter around the track and pay for it's own upkeep while I spend more time on the 86.
