After went to l*xtreme where a few self-aclaimed 1uz expert seems to be more business oriented, I'm glad there are still some people here that would like to share their knowledge. One thing that might be interesting for a lot of 1uz lover is how to manualise the auto transmission without additional transmission box (as in plainly connecting cables to push button/etc) Do you happen to know or ever play with such configuration ? I read somewhere in 4x4 forum a while back (forgot the forum name) they simply use the cables from auto-trans solenoid and wired it up to the push button (sadly without details of wiring). Is this doable ? If we cut the D cable to ECU and connect it to push button, how will it switch between gears ? will it stay in 1st ? In short, is this doable? what will be the consequences ? (engine stall, etc ?) I used diagram for 26pin (upsidedown plug) body loom ECU plug Now I understood these as looking at the face of the plug, not the back of the plug, is that correct? If the rings fail and cause pressurisation in the crank case those valves release the pressure.  least, .. thats what a mate and I 'think' they are, but we could be wrong. thanks mate I didn't know if I had to plum them into anything.
