Alas it is still alive and well albeit in pieces, rust has all but gone, diff is being machined + caliper brackets made, paint prep to follow, then FE3 with a surprise in store!  2months to go till im done in waiouru and home to actually get a good move on with this so wait out!
J-W-G
Diff is in getting machined and set up for the disks and struts are in getting crack tested. Â So should finally see some progress happening over summer...

BDA780
Looking good! That gold 4 door is damn nice. Where did you get the pedal box from? There has been a bit of an issue with the UK pedal boxes as they are made of thinner gauge steel than standard.
J-W-G
Cheers man! And yes its such i good representation of the style im going for! Its a rallydesign item, it looks to be well made with good welds

peteretep
pedal box is super illegal  mostly because welded pedal, also the pedal box material is thinner than OEM so should not pass either  http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/newsletters_pub/LVVTA_Newsletter_2014_Jan-July.pdf  page 8 refers specifically to escort pedals being bought in from the UK
J-W-G
Fuck that sucks. Â Could have saved alot of money. Any way to get around it?
peteretep
I built my own pedal box  used the pedal, master cylinders and balance bar from the uk one (could use either pedal if wanted but it affects the pedal location)  otherwise there is no way to get around it  If it makes you feel any better I also bought one so now have some scrap steel in the garage
J-W-G
Might have to trawl through your build thread... Â A master straight to the fire wall may be the go now. Only to find out what bore would be good with 4pot front and rx7 rear...
peteretep
a landrover m/c is possible but has a heavy pedal
J-W-G
I spent the night looking at S4/5 Rx7 masters and N/A R32 skyline ones as they are 15/16 bore
