The Shiny new battery terminal is an isolator that will hopefully stop any more fires occuring under the bonnet when she is sleeping.

The blue switch replaces the old heater switch, the old one was "iffy"

And the 12v socket.. well any 1960's car needs navman and cell phone charging. (tis OK, the 12V socket is fused)

You look like you should have a pair of stubbies on and drinking a can of Joseph Kuhtze Lager

Also do you have disc or drum front?

If you have drum you should buy them Consol 315 front struts from that Anglia Van in Whakatane and chuck em in - I believe they fit better than the Escort/Cortina ones.. not 100% sure what it is that makes them better but apparantly they is..

hey boss,

id start by getting the tyres popped off the beads on your widened wheels, there may be loose rust under where the bead seats, hell ive seen new chrome lift and cause air leaks round the bead.id clean them up with a wire wheel or something similar then a good coat of anti corrosion shyte should sort you out :) otherwise i believe there is a glue type stuff that you spread around the bead then pump tyre up to pop the beads back on and it seals it up nicely 8)
