yeah,theyr on a bj40 cruiser i think..

would have to bash the shit out of the inner wheel arches or move the front diff forward for any kind of turning circle ae..

i ended up passing on the deal i think..just too big..id go for 33s max..

id only want what id want for the trailer,so $2500...but if i did that deal it would have to go up to $3000 due to mass fuel use driving to picton and back...

dunno toooo much about WJ's

certainly harder to fit big tyres due to the wheelarch shape. XJ's are bad enough but you can do it if you just don't care and cut and bash the guards out. they are still solid axles front/rear but 4 link front and rear. alot more fancy/complex than my kunce XJ. 4.7 I think has a dana 44 with alloy centre in the back. some of them have fancy centre diff/tranfer cases too.

also they are a bunch heavier I think - XJ's are pretty light at ~1500kg

basically they are alot newer and fancier/more to go wrong.

i think this is a coil sprung truck in the arse too by the looks of the front link box on the chassis..

big thanks to nvmyvl for looking after it for me till i get up there to pick it up..

and have got a set of lift blocks all ready to go in..just need some longer 8.8 bolts...

cant wait to tear up some tracks and slay some animals

IFS = grader blade

this , lose heaps of articulation too. that crazy angle the koozer workmate is building is , well crazy.

just below head hieght while other wheel is still on ground

rear is a bit less due to guards .

weighed it last weeked . 2.2 ton

thing looks like it straight out of madmax

old man has wj cheaper to run than xj still kidney replacement expensive though,

xj was more 4x4 capable but had pretty horrible road manners,

wj is pretty lush for boat towing and mild 4x4ing he runs wranglers for duckshooting and seems to cover it in shit often from 4x doughies and other such escapades
