Avenga Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 I have had heaps of air leak problems in the past both on my Avenger and Charger. Charger air leak was caused by a blown diaphragm in the brake booster and on the Avenger it was a leak in one of the carbs. Both caused the same symptoms as you are having. Beaver Posted May 18, 2011 Author Share Posted May 18, 2011 vacuum advance at carb is blocked off and we disconnected the brake booster and blocked that off as well and it didnt make any difference. will check for leaks at manifold. just got a compression tester so will chuck that on tonight and see what the story is.
