grunta Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 havce your say here http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25182 build to race steelies in the latest craze velodrome racing took it out last night n couldnt even get it started , drill start was sweet but not enough power in a coardless so next racemeet ill have no clutches n push start the bitch! n e way here some build pic's it all started with a gorgeous warehouse girls bike in amazing zinc n green paint!! a wee bit of modify ... yes that is the seat poast welded into the frame ! got a couple of sweetish McCollouch chainsaw motors 32 cc's of doom! made some gears n fittes them to the chutches were the chain origionally went made some rangi mounts n put on a fresh chain! the most expencive part @ $40 then the 5 minute fuel tank n the duel throttle went on ! grunta Posted October 11, 2011 Author Share Posted October 11, 2011 got some sweet new bits today! here is a 22 tooth on a 4 spider i cut the crank off! 39 tooth sproket , 3 mm steel , brand new! $ 15.50 hahaha most expencive part on my bike now! over size spindle for extra Jeah! actually it will be the only way i can run 2 pullys on the front! 3 x fat chain from single speed bikes~ free ! Guest grunta Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 recent activity ! engine work, raised compression by putting .2mm copper gasket in replacing 1.6 factory gasket. also removed lip between valves and piston to increase flow , dremeled exhaust and inlet ports removing casting burs and making smooth edges, lapped valve seats and re assembled. took for test after fitting speedo , did 79.8km/h on second lap before running out of gas. next up grade is 3 stage header pipe . flat head power!!! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest grunta Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 spark plug has done 2 laps , also turns out i didnt just run out of gas , the top of the spark plug had undone ! will let u know how plug goes! also carb has factory jet. will play with a few jet sizes after exhaust , where according to some places is where u can get the most power gains ! up to 20% they say!
