NicT
I can machine them at work for you mike. Drill out PCD etc. If anyone ever wants Cast iron welded/x-rayed and certed Machine Part Welding on great south road will do it and they are amazing. They regularly weld Injection moulding dies and cutting dies and punches for our press tools that missfed/eat spanners/failure. They also do mag repair. TRUE Cast iron is best to be filled with stainless filler preheated and post heated etc. But ive noticed a lot of Cast iron used in car parts has alloying agents in them which makes them a lot easier to weld and less likely to crack. H05TYL
I can machine them at work for you mike. Drill out PCD etc. Just out of interest, roughly how much should expect to pay in an "off the street, non mates-rates" kinda deal, just to drill out the new PCD on a pair of hubs? and 4 discs? NicT
I wouldnt expect to much. Maybe $45 each max? All of them are going to take the same amount of time to setup, unfortunately the hubs will need to be reemed as you will need to press studs into them. So that will take a little bit extra over the discs.
