KKtrips
Try these guys - are actually totally sweet for euro parts and not fuckwit snobs like some euro joints... http://speed.co.nz/ Also they do weekly consolidated airfreight from Europe to NZ if they don't have the parts in stock.. Got me in some unusual Citroen stuff with in 4 days a couple months back..
mixmasterlex
Just throwing this out there... Would anyone be interested in buying this? Would come with a new WOF etc... I'm moving overseas soon and not sure if I should just keep it in the garage knowing it's hardly ever going to get used.... Thoughts? Cozza
I suspect they'd be a lot of interest in something as awesome as this; my interest is definately piqued. ZQN puts you in Queenstown though?
mixmasterlex
Car is in CHCH. But can probably help arrange cheap shipping to any major cities.

Cozza
How much are you looking for it? PM if you'd prefer.
mixmasterlex
Hey, It's needing a new clutch slave cylinder, so i'd get that sorted before sale, along with a new wof etc. Tread etc is all ok. Have oil and new filter to go with the car (not quite due a change). Mechanically seems to be great, engine is very strong and always starts first pop, no smoke, even under boost. I've driven it carefully, as did the last owner who had it for many years (older chap). Ideally I'd be looking at offers around 5k, given how rare the car is in New Zealand and the fact it can come factory standard (at the moment it has a re-washable K&N and a different rear parcel tray. It's an honest wee car with a good clean history. From memory it's done just over 90,000 miles. Besides the slave cylinder for the clutch nothing really needs done other than the rust around the passenger door lip I found last time I inspected the car. Shouldn't be a big job. Few wee broken pieces of trim (around the electric window controls) but all minor and easily fixable. I'd chuck some new badges on the back as they are a bit faded. I don't need to sell her, and don't really want too, but if the price was right and I knew it was going to a good home I'd consider it. Cheers. Toot Toot Timmy
That's nice. Throw it on TM, would sell fast I would think, there is a massive following of Fiats in NZ, sick cunts.
FIAT
These are rare but $5k is still top dollar. It wont be an easy sell. If I would find an immaculate original, collectors item I would pay that.
mixmasterlex
There was a mark 1 in invers that was quite modded and not super tidy, he was wanting over 4k. I don't really know if anyone would be crazy enough to pay 5k for a fiat uno, but hey... Anyway, I'm moving to aussie next week so this thing can just stay in the garage. FIAT
Take it to Aussie, it would be the ONLY one on the road.
clown_dog
What happened to this beast. I'd love to get an uno turbo one day. OR Just get the engine and fit it to my Fiat Panda. Would be super fun.
RUNAMUCK
There is one of these parked up a driveway near my work. I wrote off mums non turbo one. it was getting rust bubbles when it was only 8 or 9 years old. So I actually did her a favour.
