cletus
I like bacon. Are you going to panel/ paint the outsides at the same time?
KKtrips
The plan is, sandblast/rust repair the engine bay and get it looking nice and also the interior in front of the B pillar rust free, sound insulated and carpeted. If there is money left over then I'll look at doing the outside.

f100_dreamin
Makes it look easy, I once spent a week with a hammer and chisel removing that stuff (luckily it was a quiet week at work so I ended up getting paid for it haha)
KKtrips
2 hours ago, f100_dreamin said: Makes it look easy, It was easy. I literally tipped a quarter of the ice on the passenger side (because most of the sound deadening was already gone) and the rest on the drivers side. Moved it all around with gloved hands. Went and worked on another car for half an hour (I could hear all kinds of cracking and creaking from the floor) Went back with a motorcycle tyre lever and ran it up against some of the loose edge and the vast majority (98%) came off with zero effort. The last 2% came off with a couple of whacks and a few little bits needed the hammer behind it. Spreading the ice it took 2-3 minutes, waited half an hour then taking the sound deadening off was probably 10 minutes work. Took longer to clean all the dry ice off the floor and tip it down the drain. LOL 1
Snoozin
A protip, is put the ice into plastic bags. Makes it easier to manage and the result is the same.

KKtrips
If anyone is feeling particularly energetic on Saturday and wants to help me pull the motor and box, then I'll be sure to be super grateful. Pretty sure I can do it on my own but if I have other people turning up to help then I'll have a really good reason to not be a procrastinater and put it off.
