KKtrips
sucks bout the the motor bro, must have been just after russel and me saw u driving round houghton bay ways Yeah exactly when it was - It was going past Mathers old house that I noticed the temp up at half way.. It cooled down for a little bit round the bays then went back up again just going up Owhiro Bay Rd.. All good though - it'll just take some getting my arms dirty to fix it - I just CBF with working on cars at the mo. Ah that 308 one finishes tonight.. I'll race home straight after work.. Snoozin
Damn, a super smoky boosted diesel Vee Aitch wagon would be quite ultimate... of course the back would need to be smothered in a perma-coat of soot, with pseudo humourous slogans like "I wish my wife/sister/dog was this filthy" scribed with fingertips in it's murky crust. fuel
is repairing the current engine completely out of the question before hawkes boes? surely a head set is cheap on the shelf at ripco/supershit/bnt etc, and will take a matter of hours to replace? Assuming the block and head haven't warped or cracked, which they probably wont being cast iron. *edit* just saw the previous page. never mind the above. Raizer
Want me to see if any of my contacts here have a 202 head sitting around while Alistair is still up here? Also is it a black 3.3 or a painted red 202? (Can't remember what the difference is in the heads -if there is one)
KKtrips
Cheers for that man - would be awesome but is a shit cunt of a thing to lug around. Will see what I can find down here.. FWIW - mine is a painted red 202 - heads are different and thus so are manifolds - red ones are a 9 port, black and blue are 12 port.
