karmagedon
Yeas it will defnitally fail on a wof. LUCKILY, i got a brand new wof about 15min before this happened, so I have 6 months to save to fix it. From anyones experience, will bolt on frame rail supports be a valid "fix"? something like this that will bolt over the entrire length of the rail? R100
In my MX5 i removed the seats and carpet. Then put the car up on the hoist and comletely cut my chassis rails out and had sum new ones bent up out of 4mm steel and welded them in. A couple of coats of underseal and they looked mint as. Removed seats and carpet to avoid a fire. Reason i changed my rails was to enable a gearbox xmember to bolt to them. But thats another story. Jase
short answer NO, is it insured? cos if it is and its legal at this time i'd be getting them to sort that out, tell them you backed over a brick left in a car park or some such
