Jase Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 question for a few of the race guys more than anything, i have a mate who is running a cnc router for his mates business in hamilton, they specialise in 2d and 3d routing of all grades of aluminum, they want to move into wheel production for race cars etc who would be able to certify these wheels? for race or road use. What is the name of the metal spinners down welly way that had great prices, i'm guinea pigging with two sets of wheels one set of 15x8 bathurst globe replicas using two piece 4wd bands for track use and one set of 15x10 cherry blossom replicas for street use. These guys are dead set keen to start getting some 22s and 24s together, but i have tried to suggest there is a market for deep dish 13s 14s 15s and 16s so whoever may be interested start posting, at first they're looking at doing just centres using your own bands, then maybe looking towards tieing in with the metal spinners, we all no arrow,simmons and centreline wheels have fn over the top prices and two or three piece 15x8 to 15x10 4wd wheels can be picked up from $200 a set, there will be drafting material and labour costs but i am hoping to secure a deal for those interested within this forum post your interest they can practically replicate anything Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
