sheepers Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 tis brass. its going to be the chrome strip that goes around the base of the vinyl. i didn't have the factory one so i had to make it. the heads of the screws will be gone when its finished and ill make little joiners that go over the joints in the strip. it will be all chromed as the factory one was. in the pictures its not sitting down properly because i didnt want to force it through the holes in the vinyl just to have to lever it out again. And I highly recommend the meguiars tech wax 2.0 to finish off. I must admit was uncertain of the color when I saw just engine bay etc done but looks beautiful over the whole car. Job well done!
