Requiemk
on that note how much does weight effect performance? having been in bems celica would 200 odd kg weight different make a huuuuuuge difference?
Gaz
Yes 200kgs is a pretty substantial amount. Think 2-3 people in your car. It also effects braking alot. Light cars FTW hard. mk1 Escort = 860ish KGs in street trim.
escorted
What about a 4-AGE? Twin 45s?
My name is Russell
What about a 4-AGE? Twin 45s? Not so keens on a 4-AGE, opel could be an option. Will get the shell ready for an engine to plop in and hopefully have decided by then, i have an SR20 i could use as a dummy to make up mounts for etc . On another not, Mike gaz and I got the beast in my shed last night and had a looked over the car and the rust doesn't appear to be half as bad as what was initially thought. the two spots of concern are the sills need replacing and a new drivers floor pan. Everything else is just minor. Chris
Gaz
I gave it the once over with a screwdriver and didnt find many places the screwdriver went right through. Raizer
Yeah the vans are just mk1 2 door's as far as floors, chassis, doors etc etc are concerned. You reckon Jase's needs a new floor? Looks like a simple patch job in the pics.
