The only thing worse than driving an auto 1G from hamilton to aucks is driving an auto 1g from hamilton to aucks with a fucking miss and an auto box that wouldnt go into overdrive. Was epic roffles. Anyway heres some pics before i start 1uz project. I think its pretty tidy for what i paid for it. No rust, good paint, good skid rims, interior in good nick etc. Pics boes... Huge boot for all my NAWS /nah Plans are, Get stupid 1g out Do manual conversion with w55 box Collect all 1uzfe stuff over next few weeks including new fly +bell from a1 turbos Get mounts from auz that bolt into cressys saving me 20709273423 hours and moneys Custom extractors, sweet straight exhaust with two muffs back to two straight pipes Using standard computer, being wired by brendan at A1 Sort out suspension Do epic skids. Whata piece o shit. Sweet v8 bowl. Complete with ecu and loom Motor awaiting my flywheel coming back from having ringgear sweated on. Exedy and Cressida, bringing you sweet skids....in the future... Really just waiting on my manual stuff from myk00l and w57 box being sent up by dude in CHCH should be here early next week. Then I should be ready to take out 1g and put lexus in which will be sweeet. Then fiddle around with the little bits and pieces and send away to have wiring and exhaust done. Alistair Posted April 13, 2008 Author Share Posted April 13, 2008 Focking 1g FTL hard took so long to get out, pics are self explanatory, just put motor in for trial fit without box and fits on mounts sweet. Then mounted up gearbox which came out sweet and in a good spot. Need to put in clutch/brake pedal and the lines for slave then ill put v8 back in again for its final resting spot and start doing all the fiddly stuff and send away for wiring and exhaust. Alistair Posted April 25, 2008 Author Share Posted April 25, 2008 FINALLY got both engine mounts to line/bolt up and the gearbox crossmember to. Which means i can start/already have, to put all the other stuff in, do fuel lines, powersteer etc. Coming together well so far. Im happy with it now! Oh noe boes! Passenger side is much better/straight fit Yarrrr open header ftw And does anyone know what this is? Mine is broken. Fux0rd hard. Do i need it?
