NewGuy Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 As i am getting my petrol tank sorted out which could end up costing me more than it is worth, i need to look at getting a new fuel sender gauge unit. What will be my best options? Something that is also easy to install etc? Quote

How was the sender unit to be mounted? Yeah sender and gauge, just one of those plain black faced ones. Has a round plate with 6 holes in to mount to the tank (i modded the factory escort mount though) and you need to cut the rod the floats on to the length need (covered in the instructions) Can go in the top or side of most tanks Quote

Hes gunna put something a little thicker so if i do put a sender unit in its alot more beef to bold into. You have any pics of the model you have? will be going intot he top of the tank. Quote

Even the standard dolomite had a different size tanka nd all. I need a new gauge sender anyhow. Hope the tank repair does not cost to much and it actually lasts etc. Quote
