Yea mate bit more info. Is it carbed or injected? What car is it in? Standard computer?

My 4age will run for 5 seconds or so after the fuel pump turns off before it dies.

Checking spark, timing and fuel is the best thing you can do for a start.

yeah, basically need to make sure fuel is flowing at the right flow/pressure. Make sure theres spark at around the right timing/is there spark on all cylinders/is it enough spark.

If it isnt any of that stuff then it could be an array of things

check the power feed from the igniton switch "ON" to the power loom in your engine, also check "STA" circuit

does the car need to be running to do a compression test?

yes

does the fuel pump need 2 be on wen its cranking?

yes

Check engine input and output ancillary power feeds at on and start signals. Your constant feeds are white, your start feeds are black with white feature.

i have had it running once, then found water leaking in the oil and a pistion so re-torqued the head to the corect settings, then tried 2 start a couple days later and no luck

Have a check of all the engine wiring. I've just had to go over my bluetop loom as it was giving me trouble. I checked each wire for continuity and made sure all the connections were soldiered and good
