kyteler
Don't be so rude Dane! Does this change your mind?
mikuni
^ Meh, they have way more potential than that. The wheels, height and colour don't complement that shape at all. Still looks pretty cool, but I'm sure phils will be better.

Snoozin
Agreed with D, the silver one is a beautiful car.... Even though those Equips don't have huge dish, they still look right IMO.

danger
I have to agree, that silver defines the shape alot better, Alright I give in, Its still not my style but I can now atleast see the potential
mikuni
Ahh, I'm still not sold on it.. I reckon you could do one sooo much betterer. Gloss black, about 1 inch lower in front and 2 in back, with some slightly wider wheels that bring out the nice rear end line a little better. Snoozin
Seems to be one of the few car designs where the arches are on an even plane with each other, front and back. The only improvement I'd make to that silver one is wider rims, and put the external oil cooler he had on it, back on.
lowlancer
It used to be fucking disgustingly low, would shame you Mikuni I'd leave the oil cooler off, that just looks soooooo perfect. Don't wanna ruin the lines. Probably the only 80s mitsy car with lines

Snoozin
That's as low as that car got iirc, at that height it was dragging it's exhaust on the ground....
lowlancer
Nah mang, was on steelies, didn't post a pic on RR I don't think, was at a car show...Actually looked to be on the ground See what I can dig up...99% sure it was that car, was definately a Silver Sapporo
Snoozin
That one was lowered initially on Fondmetal 5 spoke alloys, which were then painted black. Then he stuck it on those Equips. Would have looked lower due to being parked in grass, like a typical UK show... likely it was one of the CaRS or RCS shows it was at. Toucan
So whats the difference with that one? facelift or jdm or what? I spy different indicators, chrome bumpers, cool little trim piece behind rear pillar, 10x cooler tail lights. I expect a similar finish phil

kyteler
Yeah, essentially the same car. My grandfather used to have one, would drive to the sound of the engine, which was all well and good except, he started going deaf.

Mine is a 80-82 Eterna. Same car basically, just mine is jap market and the Sapporo is european/US market. The NZ-new ones were called Galant Lambda's and the Australian ones were called Scorpions. I don't like the tail lights of that older shape one, same with that trim piece behind the rear pillar.
kyteler
and the American ones were Dodge Challenger's, as much as I like the Mitsi, it's quite the downfall after the iconic 1969 Dodge Challenger.
