Guest Speedstar
So its a 1976 CJ250, which is rare as its the last of the first gen CB250s'. was basically the same bike as the latter except some rather distasteful plastic replacing chrome to reduce weight, and also a 2 into 1 exhaust to also save a few pounds. Brought the bike for $200 running but only on one cylinder, which was tracked to a ripped carb piston flange thing (vacuum controlled throttle). So after hours repairing brake lines and chopping unnecessary parts off to reduce weight, I Raced out at Ruapuna and blew a hole in the opposite piston! (this is an educated guess) *fuck* so hopefully its an easy fix as it still runs, though barely. Heres a few vids on Cafe racers and a bit of info. http://www.cb750cafe.com More updates to come as we peer inside the grenade...
